NBA 2K26 is launching on September 5, 2025, so before the game fully releases, it's worth knowing which players excel at draining it from deep.

It's no surprise to us all that the greatest shooter of all time, Steph Curry, is rated at 99, but there's plenty to debate further down the list. From Kevin Durant rocking his new Rockets jersey to Ant-Man somehow being in a 5-way tie after single-handedly carrying his team last season, it's time to break down who's going to be draining threes in your lineups.

Steph Curry Is Undisputed 3-Point King2K

Curry's perfect 99 three-point shooting rating is just the beginning. He has a total of 21 Badges, of which 6 are HOF level and nine are Gold level. He can score anywhere with five Outside Scoring badges, which is complemented by a HOF Float Game badge for Inside Scoring and a 97 Ball Handle rating to shake off tight defenses.

Kevin Durant Goes to Houston

KD is coming off a disappointing season with the Suns, and during the offseason, was part of the historic 7-team deal which landed him in Houston to form a powerhouse with Sengun and Amen Thompson.

For this year, though, he only has 2 HOF Badges, which are Deadeye and Shifty Shooter, but he remains a potent scorer with nine Gold Badges, making him an Inside/Outside threat as a Waking Bucket archetype.

Klay Thompson Is Still A Good 3&D Player.

Klay Thompson is making a resurgence in Dallas as a 3&D Two Guard with a total of 10 Badges, with five of them being Gold. His badges are purely for Outside Scoring and Defense, with very limited rebounding and inside scoring stats. The former Splash Brother is 35 years old this season, so keep that in mind if you're playing MyGM.

Ant-Man In A 5-Way Tie

Here's where I think 2K did Ant-Man a disservice. The Wolves' superstar led the league with 320 made threes at a 39.5% clip, yet he's sitting at 87 with some role players.

To be fair, his main strength is as an inside scorer since he can posterize anyone with a 97 Driving Dunk rating and a Gold Aerial Wizard Badge, but still, leading the league in threes and only having an 87 overall rating sounds unfair to me.

Desmond Bane and Role Players2K

Don't sleep on Desmond Bane this season if you're playing MyGM. The former Grizzly is now taking his talents to Orlando, and he comes equipped with a Gold Catch & Shoot and Gold Corner Specialis, which makes him the perfect target for drive-and-kick plays.

Isaiah Joe is another role player with almost similar badges but with a better Float Game. Completing the set are Grayson Allen, Sam Hauser, and Luke Kennard. While Zach LaVine is a more dynamic player with Playmaking Badges, and is also a high flyer and an outside threat.

Other Great 3-Point Shooters Outside the Top 10

If you're building a team or choosing a team to play, you're always going to need shooters. Here are some players to target outside the top 10:

Tyler Herro

Tyler Herro might be the greatest snub in the top 10 list, even though he's a career 38.2% 3-point shooter. In NBA 2K26, he's got an 84 Three-Point Shot rating with a total of 14 Badges, in a mix of Outside and Inside scoring as a 3-Level Scorer.

Kristaps Porzingis

The unicorn will be donning the Hawks uniform this year as a 2-Way Inside-Out Scorer. He's got a total of 3 Outside Scoring Badges with a Bronze Limitless Range, which makes him a good assist target for a 3-point transition basket, corner drive-and-kick, or a pick-and-pop.

Jalen Williams

Jalen Williams was crucial in winning OKC's first championship trophy, and in NBA 2K26, he's coming off a hot shooting streak with an 87 Outside Scoring Rating and a total of 16 Badges, three of which are in the Outside Scoring category, although he's a far more dangerous threat in the mid-range.

Duncan Robinson

Duncan Robinson has been traded to the Pistons this season, and he's fallen off a bit since he's not athletic, fast, and can't defend. However, he's still a good shooter with an 84 Three-Point Shot rating and four Outside Scoring Badges.

Ever since the game's evolved, there's a lot more shooters available in the NBA, and you'll never run out of trade options for 3-point shooters.
