BREAKING: The Medium and the Yakuza Collection lead Game Pass games for January

Microsoft has revealed the full slate of games coming Xbox Game Pass this month.

Nine games are coming to Microsoft platforms.

Among them are an Xbox Series X/S and PC exclusive, and a collection of much-requested action-adventure games.

The Full Line-Up for January

Microsoft tweeted out the full line-up of January games, which includes nine games split between Xbox, PC, and the cloud. The most noteworthy is The Medium, the Microsoft exclusive survival horror from Bloober Team. The reality-altering terror is heading to Game Pass day one for Xbox Series X/S and PC, along with the retail version.

After that, the Yakuza Collection will be a welcome sight for many, bringing remasters of Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, and Yakuza 5 in one bundle. The Japanese crime games have been long requested for the service, and as the Xbox Wire post puts it, "your list of Yakuza games to ask for on Twitter is getting shorter".

The Outer Wilds, a sci-fi RPG from Obsidian, is coming to the cloud, and western real-time strategy Desperados 3 is heading to Cloud, consoles, and PC. Control joins them on PC.

A couple of lovely indie games round out the group, Cyber Shadow, and the delightful puzzler Donut County.

What's Leaving

Unfortunately, it's not all about what's coming to the subscription. A bunch of games are leaving on January 29, too. Final Fantasy XV, Gris, Death Squared, Death's Gambit, Fishing Sim World: Pro Tour, Indivisible, Reigns: Game of Thrones, and Sea Salt will become inaccessible on Game Pass in a little under two weeks.

If you've been meaning to play them and haven't yet, now is definitely the time, before more big hits come to absorb your playing time.
