Everyone knows the Steam Summer Sale is the best time to get some great games at great prices, but some of the titles you can grab for less than £10 are truly ridiculous.
We're going to run you through a list of games that will cost you less than £10 and you can't afford not to play!
The Witcher 3: Game of the Year Edition
Everything about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is incredible. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, in-fact you may have steered clear of the game thinking it's not for you. It's time to rethink that!
At £6.99, a massive 80% off in the Steam Summer Sale, you can afford to find out once and for all whether or not The Witcher 3 is everything people make it out to be.
The Game of the Year edition includes the base game and the two major expansions; Blood and Wine + Hearts of Stone.
Sniper Elite 4
The Sniper Elite franchise is one that often flies under the radar. A great stealth shooter all about giving the player the choice to throw the stealth mechanics out the window and cause utter havoc if things go wrong.
Sniper Elite 4 is the pinnacle of the series and is truly a game of choice. You will have the same objectives as everyone else who's ever played the game, but how you achieve them is completely unique to you.
Sniper Elite 4 is currently £5.99 at 85% off in the Steam Summer Sale. If you can break the £10 barrier ever so slightly, the Season Pass is also 85% off at £4.49.
PC Building Simulator
Okay, hear us out. PC Building Simulator is a great game. It's also one of the most therapeutic yet stressful experiences available on Steam.
You can take on the career mode and run your own business diagnosing, repairing and building PCs or just chill in the free build mode. It can also be a great educational tool in teaching you how to build PCs in real life!
A fantastic game and currently in the Steam Summer Sale for just £5.99, although we'd say if you stretch you budget a little, go for the Overclocked Edition for £9.98 with some DLC included.
Darkest Dungeon: Ancestral Edition
Darkest Dungeon is a gloomy yet charming experience. A roguelike where you will recruit and manage a team of heroes and try to reclaim your ancestor's estate. Crawling through dungeons and defeating the evil within in this game's bread and butter.
Smart use of those dungeon crawler tropes mixed in with the Affliction system make for a constantly tense experience. There's nothing like triumphing in battle only to realise your Crusader has lost his mind and is now a paranoid mess!
While the base edition of the game is currently £3.79 in the Steam Summer Sale, we have to recommend the Ancestral Edition at £9.99. This includes the base game, four DLC packs and the incredible soundtrack!
Vampyr
Vampyr is not a perfect game, but what developer DONTNOD achieved is incredible. Take a trip back to London in 1918, you've just been turned into a beast of the night but are still determined to help save the citizens of London from the deadly flu. You are a Doctor after all.
The decisions and situations the game throws your way are truly difficult to navigate and all have an affect your playthrough. Combat is commendable and the experience in general is one we can't recommend enough.
Vampyr is currently £8.74 in the Steam Summer Sale, a massive 75% off.
