Space Jam: A New Legacy is hitting cinemas soon, but it is also entering the world of video games too.
The game will soon be available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users, and later in July will be free in the Microsoft Store.

Release date
You can first play the game on Thursday, 1 July with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
The game will then become free in the Microsoft Store on Thursday, 15 July, the day before the movie is released.

The new game is not the sports game you would ordinarily expect, but an arcade-style beat-em-up game.
You will be able to play as a variety of the Tune Squad in an attempt to stop the Goon Squad and take down a rogue AI named Al G. Rhythm.
Winner winner
The idea behind the game comes from 'Ricky' who won an Xbox fan contest last year.
Ricky won the adult competition, so his idea to make it an old-school beat-em-up has come to life!
The youth winner 'Nadya' has also contributed additional mechanics to the game.
This has resulted in a 90s-style side-scrolling action game complete with retro, 16-bit graphics.
