It's starting to get easier and easier to get PS5 consoles in the UK. They still sell out incredibly fast, but there aren't as many scalpers to fight with.
As we enter a new week and get closer to April, we've got all the updates you need on where you can buy a PS5 console in the UK today.
Check out all the updates and information for March 30.
Stock Has Come And Gone But Don't Lose Hope
Earlier today, both EE and Amazon dropped new PS5 stock without warning, causing thousands of gamers to scramble to try and secure a new console.
But, don't lose hope because both restocks came much earlier than expected, EE normally releases theirs at around 8pm so that means there is still a chance that more stock could be coming.
If more stock doesn't come, that doesn't mean you won't be able to secure one this week.
It is expected that most major retailers will be receiving more stock over this next week.
Smyths, Argos, GAME, and likely Amazon again, are all expected to release more stock in the next week or so.
Very and John Lewis are also likely to release more stock.
Other stores such as Currys has recently adopted a ballot system to make it easier for non-scalpers to get their hands on the consoles, so it is possible that other stores will take up a similar system to allow more actual players to grab the next-gen system.
Our best advice is, keep checking back for these daily stock updates and set up as many stock alerts as you can.
But, if you have to have a new console now and can't wait for new stock, you do have a few options, although we don't recommend them.
CEX
CEX is a chain brand that sells used entertainment items from games, films, computer parts, mobile phones and more.
Because of this they don't have to follow pricing laws and can instead set their own laws.
They do sell both versions of the PS5, but be prepared to pay more than RRP for them.
At the time of writing the prices are:
- PS5 (Boxed) - £650
- PS5 Digital (Boxed) - £360
Ebay
Like CEX, if you're prepared to pay more than RRP and aren't that bothered whether the box has been opened before, then Ebay is one place to consider.
One thing to note is, since you may be dealing with individual sellers there may be a risk involved, so be prepared for that before you bid/purchase.
