November 2021 wasn't a bad month and it looks like December 2021 isn't a bad month either - for PS Plus games, anyway. Here's the latest and what free games are coming to PS Plus' monthly offerings in the next week.
CONFIRMED - December 2021 PS Plus Games
Last week's leaks were right and it looks like we're getting the following games with PS Plus in December 2021.
- Godfall (PS5)
- Mortal Shell (PS4)
- LEGO DC Super Villains (PS4)
They're certainly far from bad games - in fact, this is a better selection than November 2021's games - but they're not groundbreaking. We want something unmissable - will 2022 be any better?
UPDATE - Announcement Time & Details
PlayStation's PS Plus announcement is always a week before the next batch of games are due to come out and, as those are due to release on December 7th, we've had to wait a long time for the announcement.
Thankfully, though, it looks like we're expecting a PS Plus announcement at the following times:
- 08:30 PST - December 1st
- 11:30 EST - December 1st
- 16:30 GMT - December 1st
We've got the latest leaks below, but take these with a pinch of salt ahead of seeing the announcement on the official PlayStation account.
LEAKS - December 2021's games confirmed?
We're still waiting for an official reveal, but that doesn't stop us from finding out what's coming next month. A French gaming site, Dealabs, has a track record of being right with their leaks and their most recent leak has just dropped.
It's worth taking it with a pinch of salt, but here's what we could be getting in December 2021's PS Plus announcement:

- Mortal Shell (PS4)
- LEGO DC Super Villains (PS4)
Are you happy with these? It certainly seems like a better selection than last month.
RELEASE DATE - When are next month's games available?
We don't know what we're getting from PS Plus in December 2021 - yet, anyway - but there is a way you can find out when they're going to be added to the service ahead of the announcement.
If you look at the current selection of games on the PS Store, it will actually list an "end date" for the period they're on PS Plus. Although the first Wednesday of December 2021 is technically December 1st, the current slate of games will be available until December 6th.
This means we're going to be well into next month before we can play the games - it's a shame, but it's better than nothing. Here's what was on offer last month, for context...
