Fighting game fans are intrigued by the upcoming release of 2XKO, Riot Games' first game within the genre. Finding out who will be a part of the 2XKO roster has fans giddying with excitement.
Utilising the iconic cast of League of Legends is sure to bring plenty of players to 2XKO. However, balancing a fighting game can be tricky, so obviously, a ton of characters won't make it into the title, at least initially.
In this article, we'll be focusing only on confirmed 2XKO characters. So let's find out which characters have been confirmed so far.
2XKO confirmed characters
At the time of writing, we have a total of six confirmed characters that will make it into the 2XKO starting roster. These characters are:
- Yasuo
- Ahri
- Ekko
- Jinx
- Illaoi
- Darius
Ekko, Ahri, and Darius were the first playable characters at Evo 2023, where players got the first chance to try out 2XKO, at that time still under the Project L name.
We've seen Jinx gameplay in previous developer diaries videos from Riot Games. As for Illaoi, the Project L title reveal video confirmed the character is coming to the game.
Beyond these confirmed fighters, the community speculates on additional potential characters based on various clues:
- Katarina: Briefly glimpsed in a screenshot of early development gameplay footage
- Garen and Lucian: Skill images discovered within the game's "goodies" folder
- Vi: Artwork found at Riot Games' San Francisco office
The official 2XKO website shows a total of 12 character slots, which could make for a decent starting roster, considering the game will be supported for years and years to come with more Champions being added.
We expect more characters to be announced shortly, and we will make sure to update this article with that information as soon as it's available. So make sure to bookmark it.
