The major news coming from 2K is that there will be NO PGA Tour 2K22.
Instead, PGA Tour 2K23 has been announced with Tiger Woods playing a major role in its development.
Release Date
PGA Tour 2K23 will be released on Friday, 14 October.
You can watch the brand new PGA Tour 2K23 trailer through the link to the Tweet above.
With the release date having been announced, you can secure your copy of PGA Tour 2K23 by pre-ordering the game here.
Pro Golfers
PGA Tour 2K21 saw a load of pro golfers arrive, but the only irritating factor was that you could only play against the pros, as opposed to controlling them.
We hope that changes this year, with the prospect of playing as Tiger too good to turn down!
PGA Tour 2K21 Roster
- Justin Thomas
- Cameron Champ
- Bryson DeChambeau
- Matt Kuchar
- Kevin Kisner
- Gary Woodland
- Billy Horschel
- Ian Poulter
- Tony Finau
- Jim Furyk
- Sergio Garcia
- Patrick Cantlay
The major missing factor from last year was no women from the LPGA - something 2K will likely address next time around.
Nelly Korda, Daniel Kang and Brooke Henderson would be popular additions from North America, with the best two of the best players in the world - Jin Young Ko and Sei Young Kim hailing from South Korea.
The addition of legends such as Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Seve Ballesteros would also be immensely popular with the community.

The beauty of having the PGA Tour licencing allows 2K to have a whole catalogue of courses and tournaments to play at.

18 courses is plenty, but we want more!
This will be difficult following EA's deal with the PGA Tour and exclusive rights to all four Majors.
The Ryder Cup remains the one remaining huge tournament, and could at least sway European players to 2K.
Competition delayed
Well, this is disappointing.
After no news for a considerable length of time, EA has confirmed that EA Sports PGA Tour will be released in Spring 2023.
This is a year delay on the previous release date, so this game better be epic when it eventually hits the shelves!
The delay does leave a 'gimme' for 2K Games to secure a monopoly on golf games in 2022.
