Overwatch Halloween Terror 2021: Weekly challenges and free skins revealed

Halloween Terror 2021 has just started and Overwatch is headed into another three weeks of spook-filled content. There's a selection of new skins to unlock, Junkenstien's Revenge is back and there are three new weekly challenges to complete during 2021's Halloween Terror event in order to unlock some free cosmetics!

This isn't going to be too complicated, so expect to be able to earn these easily. Here's what you need to know...

WEEKLY CHALLENGES - Everything you need to know

Overwatch's weekly challenges - when we're talking about limited-time events - are always easy to complete and well worth your time. All you need to do is win games, essentially.

Each week, there will be three cosmetic rewards - a set of related items - up for grabs. Here's how it works:

  • Win Three Games
    • Halloween Terror Player Icon
  • Win Six Games
    • Halloween Terror Spray
  • Win Nine Games
    • Epic Halloween Terror Skin

You can earn these wins in Quick Play, Competitive Play, or Overwatch's Arcade mode. Of course, winning isn't as easy as just playing the game but there's plenty of time to tackle each one. If you're on a roll, you might even win all nine in one session!

Overwatch's Halloween Terror 2021 is introducing the following rewards, following the above-detailed weekly challenges system...

Week One Halloween Terror 2021 Rewards

This week, Skeleton Genji is the Halloween Terror skin set. (Oct 12th to Oct 19th)
