Overwatch's 2021 iteration of their annual Archives Event is finally here but there's... Something missing.
LATEST - No New PvE Modes?
Unusually, this year's Archives Event doesn't actually have a new PvE mission for players to take on.
Rather, Blizzard has opted to add in "Mission Modifiers" in an effort to keep things fresh. They do look like they'll help veteran players keep interested in the PvE missions, but you have to wonder if it is enough.
You can check out some of them in action in the Event Trailer below:
Is Overwatch dying? It's starting to look like it.
Soldier: 1776 Skin Revealed
One of several new Overwatch Archives skins has just been revealed, Soldier: 1776!
This skin joins Bushi Genji and Mousquetaire Widowmaker as reveals before the event kicks off, and we're hoping to see more as we round the corner to launch.
Overwatch Archives 2021 Event Start Time
While Blizzard has revealed that Archives event will begin on April 6, they haven't revealed that exact start time.
However, we can make a good educated guess ourselves.
We would expect the Overwatch Archives 2021 Event to begin at around 1pm ET/6pm BST on April 6, give or take an hour each side.
That's generally the time that events start in the Blizzard's hit shooter, and there's no reason why it would change this time.
Of course, as we get closer to the start of the Archives Event, hopefully the official time will be revealed. We'll be sure to let you know when it's announced.
For now, the best thing for you to do would be get up to speed with what's to come as part of the event. For that, stay tuned to our coverage here.
