Junkensteins Revenge cryptic message
The message was released in a blog post put on Blizzard's official website.
In the message, Lord of Aldersbrunn gives players some context to Junkenstein and why he wants revenge.
There are also many hints to Junkenstein's Return being a yearly event.
A key quote mentioned that the town is peaceful once the doctor had left. However, 'strange sounds' had been heard in the night.
"Today, I note with great relief that the wounds Doctor Junkenstein left upon the town of Adlersbrunn have, at last, begun to heal. Our people know peace again, and once more do laughter and light fill the streets."
Is Junkenstein's Revenge the same as in Overwatch?
However, for fans of the original game, Mike Ybarra, the president of Blizzard stated that this time around, it would be a sequel.
Additionally, it was mentioned that the game mode would be 'new' meaning that what players expect may not be accurate.
The exact information of how Junkenstein's Revenge will run this year is currently not known.
However, any official announcements from Blizzard will be updated in this article.
So, keep your eyes peeled!
