Today, Nintendo has finally revealed a brand new and improved Nintendo Switch console, putting pay to the Switch Pro speculation.
The new variation of the system will come with an OLED Screen, 64 GB of hard-drive space, and integrated LAN port, and a winder stand.

The big new addition to the system is the 7-inch OLED screen, which is slightly bigger than the base model's screen and boasts "vivid colors and crisp contrast."
The new model a suggested retail price of $349.99, and will be perfect for anyone looking to upgrade their current system.
Officially known as the Nintendo Switch (OLED Model), it will release on October 8, which is the same day as Metroid Dread.
Is this The Nintendo Switch Pro?
Realistically, this is what people have been talking about for some time. Rumoured to be announced just before E3, then during E3 and now after E3, this is likely what people have been calling the Switch Pro.
With a new screen and some small changes to the hardware, it's a nice little package but pales in comparison to what players were expecting. We were hoping for substantial differences that would improve the base experience through a stronger performance and we got a small but noticeable difference instead.
This could mean the Switch will continue to fall behind as new impressive games coming to the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 with no sign of it on the Switch. Of course, we have the cloud streaming versions of games but this is very limited in scope and doesn't allow people to play it offline or when they have a poor connection. It's a decent workaround for now but Nintendo need to pull out some better hardware soon or they will get left behind.
