Several on-feet images have been leaked showcasing the new Nike SB Dunk Low "Cherry" colourway expected to feature as part of the 'Fruity Pack', leaving many fans speculating as to when we might see a release date announced from Nike.
The hype around Nike Dunks continues to grow as we dive further into 2022, especially with a standout collaboration with Cactus Plant Flea Market on the way, plus "Pineapple" and "Blueberry" iterations set to debut as part of the fruit-themed ensemble as well.
While there is plenty to look forward to, we're focusing solely on the "Cherry" Dunk Lows in this article. So, without further delay, let's start with their release date...
When Is The Nike SB Dunk Low Cherry Release Date?
At this moment in time, the exact release date of these "Cherry" Nike's is unknown, with the only real information we have so far being that they're expected to arrive at some point in 2022.
Some reports regarding the 'Fruity Pack' suggest that the entire range is due to arrive towards the start of April; however, information regarding the "Blueberry" release seems to contradict this as they're predicted to arrive at some point this Summer.
As there is still so much speculation, we'd recommend checking back in with us as we'll be keeping this article updated with any further announcements as and when they arrive.
Nike SB Dunk Low Cherry Design
The "Cherry" Dunk Lows are a direct take on the fruit itself, with bright red leather acting as a base layer for the much deeper maroon suede overlays which cover a large percentage of the uppers of the sneakers.
Nike branding then appears in a red that sits somewhere in between the two aforementioned tones, dressing both the Swooshes and logos on the heels.
The same red also appears with the Nike SB lettering on the tongues tabs, while the patches come in the darker maroon to act as a canvas for the branding.
Despite the colour red dominating these sneakers, you do get white midsoles as is customary when it comes to a Nike Dunk release.
Nike has also included cherry logo patches on the backside of the tongues which are humanised by their faces and help to further cement the fruity theme beyond simply the red colour scheme.
It's our understanding that these "Cherry" Dunks are simply samples at this stage, so take these designs with a pinch of salt as there may still be a few alterations made between now and their final release.
Nike SB Dunk Low Cherry Price
Without an official listing and given these are only a sample, it's hard to say exactly how much the "Cherry" Nike Dunks will cost.
Generally speaking, the retail price for low-top Dunk sneakers is around $100, so we estimate that a men's pair of the "Cherry" red release will cost about the same.
This is purely speculation at this stage though, so we'd advise waiting for a listing to go live for official confirmation.
Where To Buy Nike SB Dunk Low Cherry
We believe one of the first places you'll likely find a listing for these Dunk Lows is at the Nike store, presumably under the new releases or the Dunk sneakers subsection.
We'd also recommend signing up for the push notifications if and when a listing goes live on the SNKRS page or App so you're completely prepared for their upcoming arrival.
