The Nike LeBron 4 "Fruity Pebbles" colourway looks set to return in 2022, leaving fans itching to hear a release date announced from Nike.
Originally debuting as a Player Exclusive in 2006, the colourway named after LeBron's favourite cereal has become somewhat of a fan favourite in recent years, hence the decision to bring the back.
This isn't the only fan favourite returning in 2022 either, with Nike looking to revive the "Chicago" Jordan 1 in a reimagined, vintage style later this year.

When Is The Nike LeBron 4 Fruity Pebbles Release Date?
While the exact date is unknown, it's currently being reported that the "Fruity Pebbles" LeBron 4's will release at some point in December 2022.
A 2022 arrival will end a 16-year wait for a general release of the original 2006 Player Exclusives, which means it's likely these sneakers will be highly sought after upon their arrival.
As a result, we expect they'll sell out fast, especially as it is unknown at this stage as to how many pairs will be made available.

Nike LeBron 4 Fruity Pebbles Design
We haven't seen a great deal of the 2022 "Fruity Pebbles" design so far; however, it appears the colourway will be kept pretty much identical to the 2006 Player Exclusive based on the information we do have.
As seen from the image above and pictures of the 2006 release below, the "Fruity Pebbles" feature a random assortment of colourful 'Fruity Pebbles' across the inner linings and midsoles as a nod to LeBron's favourite cereal.
White Foamposite is used for the remainder of the uppers, with a matching ankle strap around the collars adorned featuring blue tabs, while the laces and heel pulls come dressed in purple.
Underfoot you'll find the colours of the rainbow made from a translucent rubber material and arranged in horizontal stripes to match the 'Fruity Pebbles' uppers.
One key difference you may find with the 2022 release is the inclusion of genuine Fruity Pebbles branding which landed on the more recent LeBron 19 Lows.

Without an official listing, it's hard to say exactly how much these "Fruity Pebbles" sneakers will cost.
However, reports are suggesting that they will arrive with a $250 price tag based on previous LeBron releases.
Having said that, this price would be slightly more than one of Nike's most recent models - the LeBron 18. This may, in part, be due to the sheer popularity of the once Player Exclusive "Fruity Pebbles" colourway.
