A new colourway is being released for the innovative Nike Go Flyease, Nike's first hands-free sneaker.
After massive mainstream attention during the initial release, creating issues with bots grabbing hold of the shoes, the upcoming debut of the black and gum combo should hopefully ease demand and make the sneakers more accessible for all.

Nike Go Flyease Black / Gum Release Date
Right now, there is no word on the official release date for the new colourway but, as 2021 is drawing to a close, an early 2022 release date is looking increasingly likely.
For context, the initial Go Flyease was released on February 15, 2021, with additional colourways dropping in the Summer.
With one year since the initial release fast approaching, could we see the grey/gum combo drop on the Flyease anniversary?

Nike Go Flyease Black / Gum Features
As previously mentioned, the Go Flyease trainers defining feature is their ability to be put on without having to use your hands.
This is achieved through a hinge mechanism that allows them to bend in half, thus avoiding you having to tie any laces - but what exactly is the point in all of this?
Well, the Flyease concept originated after Matthew Walzer, a 16-year-old living with Cerebral Palsy, wrote to the company saying he wasn’t able to tie its shoelaces.
This letter spawned the first pair of Flyease trainers, which included a wrap-around zipper, to let Walzer’s foot slide in and out with ease, and has since developed into Go Flyease sneakers we see today.

Based on previous iterations of the shoes, it is estimated that a men's pair of the black/gum Go Flyease sneakers will set you back around $120.
You'll probably have to act fast though, as bots and scalpers have been a constant thorn in this sneakers side, making it hard to pick up a pair for retail value.
