A new Air Jordan 3 colourway dubbed the "Desert Elephant" has been revealed, leaving many fans to speculate on when we might see a release date announced from Nike.
With the addition of this new design, it appears 2022 will be an exciting year for sneaker releases and for Jordan fans in particular, especially with the upcoming debut of the "Voodoo" 1s with Zion Williamson.
With that being said, we're focusing solely on the "Desert Elephant" colourway in this article though. So, without further delay, here's everything we know about their release so far...
When Is The Air Jordan 3 Desert Elephant Release Date?
Originally, there was a ton of speculation surrounding the "Desert Elephant" colourway's release.
However, the sneaker eventually launched on 1 July 2022, which means they're out now if you're looking to secure your pair.
Air Jordan 3 Desert Elephant Design
It appears Nike has opted to utilise a number of natural, almost earth-like tones for its Air Jordan 3 "Desert Elephant" release.
Firstly, the uppers are constructed out of premium black tumbled leather which is then accented by rather unique brown elephant-print overlays around the mudguards and heels.
You then get hints of Fossil Stone/Sail around the tongues and collars plus hits of orange across the eyestays, behind the tongues, and finally the Jumpman logos on the front.
Towards the heels, you'll find the Jumpman logo once again and Nike Air branding dressed in white to match the much brighter midsole units, plus Jordan's 'Formula' badge stitched onto the insoles.
The shoes then sit on top of Fossil Stone outsoles which include bright orange and white accents which also dress the Jordan branding towards the heels.
Air Jordan 3 Desert Elephant Price
The sneakers retail for $200 in adult sizing, which more or less aligns with the typical Jordan 3 retail price.
