Offical images have surfaced of a new Air Jordan 1 High SP Utility colourway, leaving many fans wondering if Nike has announced a release date yet.
Whenever the word 'Utility' is attached to a Jordan release, it usually means the sneakers feature a more practical aesthetic, much like the upcoming "Light Berry" Jordan 1's which are made from the ultimate all-weather material GORE-TEX.
Although these Utility sneakers don't include the same level of waterproofing, there's still a lot to be excited about from their design.

When Is The Air Jordan 1 High SP Utility Release Date?
After early reports had these sneakers pencilled in for a release at some point in 2022, we can now confirm that the Utility Jordan 1s are out now.

Air Jordan 1 High SP Utility Design
Nike has opted to mimic the beloved "Shadow" colourway for this Utility release, albeit with a much darker black and grey, almost satin-like finish.
In fact, the satin-like material should provide some level of weather resistance much like the aforementioned GORE-TEX release, hence the Utility branding.
Furthermore, the usual toe perforations on these Utility Jordan 1's appear to not be fully pressed through which should help keep the water outside of these sneakers.
One of the most interesting inclusions though is the black Swoosh panels featuring bright red tabs across the midfoot section of the sneakers.
Upon closer inspection, you'll probably notice these are attached via a button that, once lifted, reveals handy pouches underneath for storage which is in keeping with their more practical design.
You also get small bags with Jordan branding that attach around the heels of the shoes, thus providing additional storage to the aforementioned pouches.
The whole shoes then sit on top of off-white midsoles, while gold Nike Air branding can be found across the tongue tabs to round off this Utility colourway.
Air Jordan 1 High SP Utility Price
After early predictions had these sneakers down as $200, we can now confirm a men's pair will cost $175.
We also believe smaller and subsequently cheaper kid's sizes are available as well.
