The Air Jordan 1 has been remodeled and redesigned countless times over the years, however, this time it appears Jordan is sticking to a college theme by recreating the “Georgetown Hoyas” sample from '85.

While we were given a glimpse of the upcoming Air Jordan 1 "Dark Marina Blue" in Jordan's Spring 2022 preview, not much was known about the '85 "Georgetown" as we approached the release date.

However, official images gave greater insight into what the sneakers were going to look like.

With that being said, make sure you check back in with us to find out all the latest information right here.

Air Jordan 1 High '85 Georgetown Design

As previously mentioned, these Jordan 1's appear to emulate the original "Georgetown" sample from 1985.

Having originally been designed by Peter Moore, who previously worked on the Nike Dunks, it is no surprise that the college colours came through during the sampling process.

These sneakers boast an all-leather construction, with a light grey making up most of the base which is then contrasted by the dark navy panels that wrap around the toebox and heel.

The laces and tongue come with a slight yellow tint which appears to be a deliberate design feature to give these Jordan 1's a slightly more retro aesthetic.

The ankle is then stamped with the signature Wings insignia that has become synonymous with the Air Jordan 1 design, thus completing the look.

Air Jordan 1 High '85 Georgetown Price

The "Georgetown" Jordan 1's come with a $200 price tag, which aligns with the usual Jordan 1 cost.

We'd recommend acting fast though as stock will likely be limited, and bots and scalpers will probably be waiting to pick them up for resale.

Where To Buy Air Jordan 1 High '85 Georgetown
