Nike's celebration of the Air Force 1's 40th birthday is really starting to pick up, especially following the official announcement of its new "Dip Dye" colourway, leaving many fans wondering when we might see them released on the Nike Store.
The sneakers are just one of many new Air Force 1's arriving in 2022 to mark the occasion, with the upcoming "Copy Paste" colourway also due to arrive soon alongside Berlin-themed mid-tops in Nike's new "City Pack"
While there is plenty to look forward to, we're focusing specifically on the "Dip Dye" release in this article. So, with that being said, here's what we know so far...
When Is The Nike Air Force 1 Dip Dye Release Date?
We don't have a concrete release date for the "Dip Dye" Air Force 1's just yet despite Nike revealing official images of the sneakers.
However, reports suggest we will see them arrive sooner rather than later in 2022, possibly even in the coming weeks.
With very little information available right now, make sure you check back in with us as we'll be keeping this article updated with any further announcements as and when they arrive.
Nike Air Force 1 Dip Dye Design
It would seem Nike has taken a DIY approach to the construction of these sneakers by combining a light blue canvas base with denim blue suede overlays that adhere to the "Dip Dye" moniker.
Interestingly, the "Dip Dye" allusion is broken somewhat by the pristine white rubber midsole; however, the denim blue then returns underfoot.
This provides a nice contrast to the two tones of blue that heavily feature across the entirety of these sneakers.
Towards the heels, you'll find Nike Air logos in the usual low-top position which subsequently match the branding across the tongue tabs and insoles.
You may also notice the unique blue lace dubraes, as opposed to the usual metal ones found on the highly popular all-white Air Force 1's, which is in keeping with the dip dye theme.
It's also worth mentioning the blue suede swatch attached to the laces upon unboxing which is a nice touch to further cement the DIY approach towards the excellent dip-dyed design.
Nike Air Force 1 Dip Dye Price
Nike is yet to confirm the cost of these "Dip Dye" sneakers, but most reports predict they will arrive with a $130 price tag.
This would align with the usual cost of Air Force 1's as they typically retail for somewhere between $100 and $130. Make sure you stay tuned to find out more on the price right here.
Where To Buy Nike Air Force 1 Dip Dye
As previously touched on, we believe one of the first places a listing will go live for these Air Force 1's is at the Nike Store under the new releases or the Air Force 1 subsection.
We'd also recommend signing up for the push notifications when the sneakers arrive on the SNKRS page or App so you're completely prepared for the drop.
