NHL 24 release date
The official NHL 24 release date is Friday, 6 October, at around 9AM PT/ 5PM GMT. Players who bought the X-Factor edition received three days of early access, and have been playing the game since 3 October.
As mentioned above, this year's title brings plenty of new features and a much-improved gameplay. So far, most reviews about the game have been positive, and the feedback from the community has also been good.

NHL 24 early access
As is standard for EA Sports titles, a 10-hour time-limited EA Play trial was rolled out for NHL 24. This was an exclusive offer for EA Play subscribers only (Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes EA Play), and after the 10-hour time limit expires the trial ends. Players then have to purchase the full game in order to continue playing.
As mentioned above, players who acquired the X-Factor edition received three days of early access. This edition also includes other rewards, such as 4600 NHL Points, a unique Cale Makar card, a HUT Power Up Icon Choice Pack, and five WOC Battle Pass XP modifiers.
Cover star
Last year's cover was graced by Ducks player Trevor Zegras and Canadian women's player Sarah Nurse. This year, the Colorado Avalanche superstar Cale Makar was chosen as the face of the game.
