Following some open betas, New World, Amazon's new MMO, is finally here. If you're looking to jump into the final experience as soon as possible, here's everything you need to know about New World's release time and when the servers and due to go live.
New World Release Time
Since the game is online focused, Amazon has helpfully detailed exactly when you can play New World in all regions. They had the following to say about why they're set the times they have.
"We want that initial land rush to feel fair for all our players around the world. We paid close attention during Closed and Open Beta to your feedback on when servers went live. When planning our server launch times, we took fairness and your feedback in mind and have designed a server roll out we hope will support the majority of our players."
As for when New World will actually release, below are the times in all regions:
- 7AM BST - UK Servers will launch
- 8AM CEST - EU Servers will launch (9/27 at 11pm PT)
- 8AM BRT - South American Servers will launch (9/28 4am PT)
- 9PM AEST - Australian Servers will launch (9/28 4am PT*)
- 8AM ET NA - US East Coast Server will launch (9/28 at 5am PT)
- 8AM PT NA - US West Coast Servers will launch
Amazon has also released a helpful image that shows the map of the world and when the New World servers go live across it.
Preload Details
So that everyone can jump into New World as soon as possible, Amazon has made it possible to preload the game early.
If you've already purchased it, you can preload the New World client from 4pm BST/11am ET on September 27, the day before it fully releases.
While we don't know the full download size of it quite yet, the beta was around 40GB, so it should be able to same. We'll confirm as soon as it is available.
For now, though, be sure to preload the game so that you can jump into New World at the earlier possible time.
