Are shiny Pokemon in New Pokemon Snap?

New Pokemon Snap has finally arrived, the game that many fans have been hoping would happen for 20 years.

The last entry in the Pokemon Snap series was on the Nintendo 64 back in 1999, so it has been a while.

Now it is 2021 and the Nintendo Switch is the perfect console for a new game, being able to utilize the console's motion controls to act as a camera.

But are there shiny Pokemon in New Pokemon Snap?

Are There Shiny Pokemon In New Pokemon Snap?

Pokemon dataminer SciresM has pulled all of the entries for the PhotoDex, including different forms that a Pokemon may have.

They have confirmed that there are no shiny Pokemon in New Pokemon Snap, but that doesn't mean they couldn't be added in a future update, which would give players a new incentive to revisit and play the game again.

But, there are still over 200 Pokemon to be found across New Pokemon Snap, including Legendary and Mythical Pokemon such as Mew, so there are still plenty to be found in the game which should keep players busy for quite a while.

Photographs are also judged by Professor Mirror with them ranging from one to four-star.

Trying to secure each star rank for all 200 Pokemon will be very time consuming so if you want an extra challenge then try and do this.
