There is still plenty of time until the NBA 2K24 trailer releases but we are all looking forward to the next game. From new features to improved graphics, everyone wants to get a look at the next game.

So, without further ado, let's see what the NBA 2K24 trailer release date is, and what player will be the cover athlete of the biggest basketball game in the world.

Unfortunately, the highly anticipated NBA 2K24 trailer won't be dropping any time soon. The first reveal trailer for NBA 2K23 arrived in July 2022, showing fans a game with revitalized gameplay, and some astonishing graphics.

The NBA 2K23 trailer also allowed fans to see some of the NBA's best players in action, performing their signature moves. James Harden with his step-back three, Ja Morant with a flashy dunk, and Lebon James with the fadeaway.

So while we will have to wait until July 2023 before we get a look at NBA 2K24, it will be worth the wait!

The MyNBA, MyTEAM, and MyCARER game modes will also have their own exclusive NBA 2K24 trailer. In these trailers, players will be able to see the new features added to the modes, and watch a little bit more of NBA 2K24 gameplay.

NBA 2K24 will be a very important edition for the basketball video game, marking 25 years of the first-ever NBA 2K game.

For those already looking toward NBA 2K24, you still have a long wait ahead of you.

2K usually releases their games in the same window which is September. This puts it in line with other sports games that release at the start of a new season.

As a result, we estimate that the NBA 2K24 release date will be Friday, 8 September 2023.

Late year 2K showed off the cover athlete around the same time the first trailer dropped. We expect them to follow the same strategy for NBA 2K24, and LeBron James is easily the favourite to be on the cover of the game.

James broke the NBA's all-time leading scoring record earlier this season and is still one of the best players in the league at 38 years old. We expect to see the king as the primary figure in the NBA 2K24 trailer.
