NBA 2K22 Season 5 Release Date
The release date of NBA 2K22 Season 5 will be February 25th, 2022, and will bring with it the end of Season 4: Hunt 4 Glory.
Season 4 saw plenty of new challenges and cards in MyTEAM and a revamped map for The City, which shocked a lot of players. Now, we wonder what exactly we'll see in Season 5.
Considering the All-Star Game is on February 20th, we think that NBA 2K22 Season 5 will feature an All-Star-based theme. Of course, it could be anything that has to do with the second-half of the NBA season as well.
Now let's talk about what we can expect from MyTEAM to end Season 4 and begin Season 5.
NBA 2K22 MyTEAM Season 5
MyTEAM in Season 5 has a ton of new features over the next six weeks. One of the most anticipated is the Dark Matter Level 40 reward.
We've already seen the Original Owners Skill Challenge that has a ton of current and former All-Stars filling the lineup. Perhaps we could see another iteration of that in NBA 2K22 Season 5.
Obviously, players will be most concerned about the Level 40 rewards. For Season 4, the MyTEAM Level 40 reward was GO Yao Ming. The Level 40 DM Ray Allen is definitely a step up in that regard.
MyCAREER Expectations in Season 5
MyCAREER in The City and Cancha Del Mar has gotten kind of dry lately. We think NBA 2K22 Season 5 could revamp both.
We already know that there are going to be additional rewards, but what about more game modes and tournaments? The NBA 2K League is seeing some changes, so we expect MyCAREER will as well.
For now, players will continue playing 3v3 games and running Pro Am tournaments. Hopefully, NBA 2K22 Season 5 will bring more action to The City and Cancha Del Mar.
If not, they could be running players away from MyCAREER by the end of Season 5.
