NBA 2K22 Best Power Forward builds
When combing through the different builds in NBA 2K22, the most important thing to note is the kind of power forward you want.
There are a ton of different styles of play, so think about who you'd want your MyPLAYER to emulate and build based on that. We've got a few builds that can help.
Here are some of our favorite (and the best to use) Power Forward Builds
Paint Beast
This build is for the guys that want to body their opponents in the paint. Zion Williamson emulates this style well. You'll be near unstoppable in the paint, but it comes with some side effects.
Unfortunately, shooting from the perimeter will be sacrificed as most of your skill will be focused within the paint. Don't be alarmed though, what you lack in shooting you'll make up for in finishing and defense. Add some shooting Badges to help you get more efficient down low and in the midrange.
Here's what you'll need to get started building your Paint Beast MyPLAYER:
- Height: 6’8’’
- Weight: 255lbs
- Wingspan: 90.0’’
- Build: Paint Beast
- Takeover: Glass Cleaner
- Primary Skills: Defense and Rebounding
- Secondary Skill: Finishing
3-Level Scorer
Perhaps you want a MyPLAYER at power forward that's more versatile. A player that can score at any level, but still be able to work in the paint. This is where you'll want to build the 3 Level Scorer.
This is a "score first" archetype available at all five positions. It works great as a power forward though as you'll force defenses to run to the outside to guard you.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is a great example of this NBA 2K22 build. He can score from anywhere, but with this build, you'll surrender a little bit of defensive prowess.
Here's how you can start the 3 Level Scorer build:
- Height: 6'8"
- Weight: 225lbs
- Wingspan: MAX
- Build: 3 Level Scorer
- Takeover: Limitless Range
Post Playmaker
This build is going to require a lot of skill to navigate. You'll be a nightmare in transition and be able to cut to the basket with ease. The Post Playmaker build is great for those looking to play small ball.
You'll be a little shorter and a lot lighter than other power forwards, so guarding them in the paint isn't going to go over well. You can help by adding defensive Badges, but your main focus is distributing the ball and scoring.
Most of your attributes will need to be added to playmaking, then focus on finishing, lastly add the rest to defense. Not many people are running this build, but some belief it to be the next demi-god build in NBA 2K22. Get ahead of the curve by running this build first thing on the release date.
Here's how you can get started with this build:
- Height: 6'7"
- Weight: 185lbs
- Wingspan: MAX
- Build: Post Playmaker
- Badge: Intimidator
