These rating changes are exciting and make a lot of sense with how these players have performed on the court as of late.
With Embiid bringing "Trust the Process" to its fruition with massive showings, Gobert proving Shaq wrong week in and week out, Wood giving Rockets fans hope, and James Wiseman having a massive rookie season - the new NBA 2K21 update has a lot of things right.
What about NBA 2K22?
Yes, it's a new year and attentions will begin to turn towards NBA 2K22.
We may still be some months off, but that won't stop the community guessing around cover stars, release dates and what affect another year of Next Gen consoles will have.
We're expecting NBA 2K22 to arrive in September of this year, and we think there will be a whole host of names who could be the cover athlete, with Luka Doncic and Trae Young certainly in the running.
