NBA 2K19: Washington Wizards Player Ratings and Roster

The Wizards have definitely seen better times, and yet have still outdone the Magic that is seen as a possible sister to them due to the names. Finishing 17th overall of the entire western and eastern conference, this year isn’t looking much better for them. Although they have some strong players, they may need a year or two to really get off the ground.

Starting Lineup

John Wall, PG (OVR 89)

Age: 27

Height: 6’4”

Traits: Two-Way Superstar

Best Attributes: Speed, Ball Handling, passing

A staple name in the roster ever since he was picked up in the NBA, John Wall is quite possibly the most well known PG for being a team player. Even though he averaged 19.4 points a game last year, it was his 9.6 assist average and 1.4 steals per game that really stole the show. Look to him to try to pull this team out of the bottom 15 of the league.

Bradley Beal, SG (OVR 87)

Age: 25

Height: 6’5”

Traits: Offensive Star

Best Attributes: Stamina, 3pt, Vertical

If you’re going up against the Wizards, you may have to deal at least with one threat. Beal has been seen as a strong member on the Wizards roster, averaging 22.6 points last season per game. He also had a decent 4.5 assists averaged and a .527 eFG%, making his outside the paint shots very decisive.

Otto Porter, SF (OVR 81)

Age: 25

Height: 6’8”

Traits: Offensive-Minded Wing

Best Attributes: Mid-range, Stamina, Layups

Although ranked high in terms of personal skill and attributes, his past season didn’t see much growth. Only averaging around 14.7 points per game, Porter had a mediocre 6.4 total rebounds averaged per game, but an abysmal 2.0 assists as a small forward. Not the worst member, but definitely not the best.

Markieff Morris, PF (OVR 77)

Age: 28

Height: 6’10”

Traits: Crafty Inside-Outside Threat

Best Stamina, Strength, Layups

Morris doesn’t really have any outstanding strengths. Barely breaking the double digit points averaged at 11.5, he seems to only have decent rebounding, with an average 5.6 per game last season. This year, he looks to improve on that, as well as increasing his .536 eFG%.

Dwight Howard, C (OVR 81)

Age: 32

Height: 6’11”

Traits: Elite Paint Protector

Best Attributes: Strength, Rebounding, Blocks

You’ve seen him on commercials, but that’s about all you’ll find him on. With his first season on the Wizards roster, he hopes to be a shining star after his former years have fallen off. Averaging 16.6 points per game last season, he had a strong 12.5 average rebounds per game, making him the best defensive member on the Wizards roster. But, he’ll need quite a bit more than just that if he wants to pull the Wizards out of their slump.
