After finishing 6th overall in the Eastern Conference, the Miami Heat showed amazing weaknesses in the off-season by being dropped in the eastern conference in the first round. As such, they are looking to power up a bit more and show that they deserve their top spot in the NBA.
Starting Lineup
Goran Dragic, PG (OVR 84)
Age: 32
Height: 6’3”
Traits: Offensive Superstar
Best Attributes: Layups, Ball Handling, Stamina
One of the longer-standing members in the NBA, this will be 4th full season that Dragic will be playing with the Miami Heat. Touted as a strong point guard, Goran wasn’t able to live up to his former year, only having about 17.3 average points scored, but was able to be a decent playmaker for his team, racking up 4.8 assists and 3.4 total rebounds, as well as having a .45 FG%.
Dwyane Wade, SG (OVR 79)
Age: 36
Height: 6’4”
Traits: Two-Way Guard
Best Attributes: Ball Handling, Blocks, Lateral Quickness
Coming back to his home team after a brief stint with Cleveland, Dwyane Wade looks to bring them up even higher. Only averaging around 11.5 points last season, he was able to hold up a decent 3.5 assists average, while still holding a .479 eFG%.
Josh Richardson, SF (OVR 78)
Age: 24
Height: 6’8”
Traits: Two-Way Wing
Best Attributes: Lateral Quickness, Mid-Range, 3Pt
Still getting his stride, Josh Richardson hopes to be the shining light of Miami come the 2019 season. After being bumped up to being a full starter in 2018, he was able to lower-than-average 12.9 points, as well as 2.9 assists per game. As down as he may seem, his one redeeming quality would be his above-average .523 eFG%, but not much rides on him on the offensive side.
Bam Adebayo, PF (OVR 78)
Age: 20
Height: 6’10”
Traits: Rebounding Specialist
Best stats: Vertical, Rebounding, Strength
As one that is trying to get his groove on, Bam Adebayo has yet to hit his stride. Only starting in 19 of his 69 games with the Heat in 2018, he has been more of a defensive specialist, holding 5.5 average rebounds against a poultry 6.9 points average. He has held a decent .512 eFG%, but that won’t mean much as the Heat will be looking to hold him as their safety wall against the opposition.
Hassan Whiteside, C (OVR 85)
Age: 29
Height: 7’0”
Traits: Elite Paint Protector
Best Attributes: Rebounding, Blocks, Strength
The shining star of the Miami Heat now, Hassan is rightly averaged at 85 overall in NBA 2K19. As a center, he was able to average 14.0 points per game, but had a staggering 11.4 total rebounds, with 8.2 of those coming in defensive. as a big man, all the hopes of keeping them alive will most likely rest on Hassan Whiteside for their season.
