With an extremely impressive record of 62-20 in the regular season, the 1st place Phoenix Suns at the time were a bit of a let down come the playoffs. After dispatching the Mavericks and the Grizzlies, they collapsed in a 1-4 series against the Spurs. Nevertheless, they had an amazing season, one that would put them on the map for times to come.
