Each week, Madden 22 picks players from the past and present seasons to fill out their MUT 22 Team of the Week.
Dubbed TOTW 9, we decided to put together our predictions for the players that will make up, Player of the Week (POTW), the LTD player, and more.
We did pretty good for TOTW 8, so let's see if we can predict the MUT 22 TOTW 9 lineup.
MUT 22: Team of the Week 9 Release Date
Lucky for us, one of the things that have landed at about the same time each week is the MUT 22 Team of the Week, which is normally revealed on Good Morning Madden.
Although their format for choosing players to fill out the lineup each week changes, we expect the reveals to start at about 6pm ET on Monday, November 8, 2021.
After the first set of reveals are announced, you can expect the full reveal on Good Morning Madden to happen on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at approximately 10:30am ET.
After each card is revealed, they should go live in the MUT 22 market around 4pm ET, but delays on that could happen as well.
Player of the Week 9 (POTW) - Jonathan Taylor
It wasn't a hard choice to take Jonathan Taylor as our pick for Player of the Week (POTW 9) in MUT 22. His performance in Week 9 was legendary and a large part of the Colts win over the Jets.
Taylor rushed for 172 yards on 19 carries, leading the NFL in rushing yards for Week 9. He also tacked two touchdowns on top of it. With his performance in Week 9, we expect he'll be one of the MUT 22 TOTW 9 running backs.
Team of the Week LTD - Doug Martin - 2012
In a game between the (at the time) Oakland Raiders and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Doug Martin rushed for 251 yards in a single game. That isn't where the stat sheet stops though.
He added four touchdowns to his 251-yard rushing game and cemented himself as a legend in Tampa Bay. What better card would fit a MUT 22 TOTW 9 LTD than Doug Martin in 2012?
TOTW 9 Offensive and Defensive Heroes Predictions
This week, we've got some legends that lit up Week 9 of the NFL in the past and could find themselves on the MUT 22 Team of the Week roster.
As always, we'll start with our Offensive Hero first, a player who helped the Eagles fly in 2008.
Offensive Hero - Donovan McNabb - 2008
Donovan McNabb and the Eagles absolutely obliterated the Seahawks in Week 9 back in 2008. The Eagles were a strong defensive team, but McNabb really put them over the top.
In this one, he passed for 349 yards and two touchdowns while only being sacked once. Who better to lead the MUT 22 TOTW 9 lineup than an Eagles QB that was a legend in the city.
Defensive Hero- Charlie Peprah - 2011
This is likely a name that you've never heard of, but he rocked the NFL with his performance against the (at the time) San Diego Chargers. Peprah was a safety for the Green Bay Packers in 2011.
Against the Chargers, Peprah had five tackles and two interceptions. One of these interceptions was returned for a touchdown. The other was returned for 76 yards. He'd be a great safety to have in your MUT 22 lineup.
TOTW 9 - Other Player Upgrades
Rounding out our Madden 22 Team of the Week 9 predictions are the players who went above and beyond in Week 9 and earned a spot on the roster.
We have six players in total, each of which made an incredible impact on their team this week and we hope to see them have their own MUT 22 card.
Offense: Devonta Smith, Nick Chubb, Justin Herbert
For starters, Devonta Smith put together an incredible performance, even though his team lost by three points. He finished the game with 5 receptions, 116 yards, and one touchdown.
Nick Chubb does as he's always done and pound defenses into the ground with his incredible rushing ability, ending the day with 137 yards and two touchdowns. Lastly, Justin Herbert definitely deserves a boost to his MUT 22 card after his 356-yard passing day paired with two touchdowns.
Defense: Eric Kendricks, Bobby Okereke, Ashtyn Davis
It was a tough game for Eric Kendricks who did all he could to get his team a victory. However, his 17 tackles weren't enough to get a win over the Ravens. Bobby Okereke had 11 tackles with an interception to help his Indianapolis Colts get a win over the Jets.
Although the Jets lost, there's no arguing that Ashtyn Davis didn't do all he could to help his team. He had 10 tackles and two forced fumbles in an attempt to propel his team to victory. Perhaps he'll be getting another shot at a win when he joins the MUT 22 squad.
