MSCHF has unveiled a new pair of multi-coloured sneakers in collaboration with Jimmy Fallon named the Gobstompers via Instagram.
The Brooklyn-based art collective is known for its wacky designs that push the boundaries of what's possible, having previously released blurred dollar bills and billionaire-themed popsicles.
MSCHF's upcoming sneakers are no different as they draw inspiration from the classic Gobstopper candy in a way that goes beyond just their appearance.
With that in mind, here's everything we know about the upcoming Gobstompers so far...
MSCHF Gobstomper Jimmy Fallon Edition Release Date
MSCHFs website has confirmed that the Gobstompers are out now, having dropped on 28 July 2022 at 1pm EDT.
The sneakers are only available via the MSCHF app though, so make sure you have it downloaded if you're interested in picking up a pair.

As mentioned, the MSCHF Gobstompers are inspired by Gobstopper candy, but you may not believe this to be the case when you unbox the shoes for the first time.
Upon arrival, their minimalist grey exterior won't seem particularly Gobstopper-like at first glance.
However, after wearing the shoes for a little while, you should start to notice the outer layer beginning to shed to uncover brighter tones of yellow, blue, and red to reflect the iconic look of the popular jawbreaker sweet.
The Gobstopper theme continues if you look underneath the sneakers as you'll find a psychedelic pattern of yellow, light blue, and red in reference to a Gobstopper's many layers.
A trio of exclamation marks can also be found on the exterior of the tongues, whilst the inner lining features MSCHF branding along with a graphic of Jimmy Fallon's face to complete the design.

MSCHF's official listing confirms that these sneakers retail for $195.
This is actually slightly more expensive than some of MSCHFs previous sneaker releases, although this could be down to having a high-profile celebrity in Jimmy Fallon involved in their promotion.
