Madden 21 player chooses his cousin as Golden Ticket

Here, we've got all the details on the heartwarming reason Derick Roberson has a new Golden Ticket card in Madden 21 Ultimate Team.

Cousin of Derick Roberson wins Madden 21 Golden Ticket

Madden 21 Ultimate Team recently brought back the Golden Ticket promo, and this special event allows players a chance at winning a special Golden Ticket.

The 20 lucky winners then got the opportunity to choose any player in the NFL, following a few general rules, and give them an ultra-powerful 99 OVR card for Madden 21 Ultimate Team.

Rapae Lollies II posted to Twitter on April 7 that he was one of the few who snagged a Golden Ticket in his Golden Opportunity Pack, and he announced the week after that he'd be choosing his own cousin Derick Roberson for his custom Golden Ticket.

The 25-year-old Derick Roberson is from San Antonio, Texas and has been with the Tennessee Titans since 2019 after initially going undrafted out of Sam Houston State.

MUT Golden Ticket release includes Derick Roberson

Derick Roberson was first revealed when the full player list for MUT Golden Ticket this year was released, but it wasn't clear when he'd actually land in the game.

That finally came today, as Derick Roberson was included in the MUT Golden Ticket Release II along with Derek Carr, Jalen Reagor, and Grant Delpit.

Despite a limited career so far, Roberson has impressed when given the opportunity, including several sacks during his 2019 appearances.

Thanks to a little bit of luck, and a great gesture by his cousin, players can now get this defensive machine Derick Roberson on their Ultimate Team in Madden 21.
