After an enjoyable first week of Madden 24 Ultimate Kickoff, the second half of the program is on the way. While the lineup-limited mode fell foul of some rather obvious substitution manipulations the new cards and challenges have added a lot to the game.

This week will see part two of Ultimate Kickoff land in Madden 24, which means new cards and another set of 48 challenges. We might also get a House Rules event to replace the 81 OVR lineup mess.

So what do we have in store for us this week? Let's take a look.

Latest: All Ultimate Kickoff II cards revealed

The Ultimate Kickoff II program was released today, with all the cards being announced in the GMM stream. These cards have great attributes and X-factors and will provide a massive upgrade for most squads.

Ultimate Kickoff II release date

The Madden team doesn't really do hard and fast drop times. Everything is "targeted for" but there are often delays. Still, you should aim to get online at 1:30pm ET/6:30pm BST on Thursday 14 September.

That is when the second part of Ultimate Kickoff should be going out to the world.

Field Pass

The addition of new challenges will provide you some additional upgrade tokens and vote tokens for your pair of Field Pass players.

Brandin Cooks and Amani Oruwariye can be leveled up to useful players, with Cooks in particular being a good option for theme teams as he is on his fifth team already.

You can see all the Field Pass rewards below.

Challenges

For solo grinders, there will be 48 challenges per release in Ultimate Kickoff. The first release will have a total of 240 stars to earn and there are some solid rewards for these.

  • 15 Stars: 1k Program XP
  • 30 Stars: Vote Token
  • 60 Stars: 76+ OVR UK player
  • 100 Stars: 1k Program XP
  • 140 Stars: Vote Token
  • 180 Stars: 81+ UK player
  • 230 Stars: 1k Program XP

We can expect similar rewards for the second batch of challenges which should release with the second wave of Ultimate Kickoff that we anticipate for release on Thursday 14 September.

Ultimate Kickoff H2H

A special head-to-head challenge will be active for two weeks with a very special reward. Players will have to meet lineup requirements to play, and the reward for those who win the Super Bowl is a fully auctionable 87 OVR Darren Waller.

The H2H challenge is repeatable, so players can load up on this card. It will be played at All-Madden difficulty though so good luck!

The lineup requirements are as follows:

  • Minimum 6 UK players
  • Max 81 OVR lineup
  • Max 10 gold players
  • No silver players
