Back in December 2022, Madden 23 players were left fuming after EA was forced to erase a whole host of online franchise leagues as the files had been corrupted.
Since then, EA attempted to restore the files but was unable to do so with a large portion of Franchise leagues, meaning they were deleted forever.
So, in the hope they can make it up to their user base, EA has devised a plan on how they can get back in would-be Madden 24 fanatics' good books...
50% OFF Madden 24
EA has revealed that ALL impacted players will receive a 50% discount on Madden 24 when they go to purchase the game.
Yes, you heard that correctly - if you are one of the players affected by the Madden 23 Franchise league issues, you are eligible for a copy of Madden 24 at HALF PRICE!
We aren't sure just yet how the discount will be issued, but we assume a discount code will be sent to all affected players via email.
Closed Beta for ALL
In addition to the 50% Madden 24 discount which is on the table, EA is providing all impacted players with access to the Madden 24 Closed Beta.
This is a nice touch from EA as they recognise this sort of access is invaluable to die-hard Madden gamers.
It is important to note that the invite for the Closed Beta will only be issued to those of you on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
The email sent out from EA's Sean Graddy includes the following statement:
"All impacted Franchise players will receive an invite for access to the Madden NFL 24 closed beta. The invite is good for registration to access the closed beta on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles only. Finally, for all impacted players who lost progress due to this issue, you'll receive a 50% discount on Madden NFL 24."
