THE GOAT: Brady continues to prove himself against all odds

Tom Brady was boosted to 99 OVR temporarily last week after breaking the all-time passing record, but that 99 Club membership was promptly revoked as he only earned that due to the record.

The same happened with Justin Tucker, who jumped to 99 OVR before being dropped back down 90 OVR, which was still 3 points above his 87 OVR rating prior to the temporary 99 Club boost.

While Brady dips to 98 OVR compared to last week's record-induced 99 Club reign, it still puts him one point up from the 97 OVR rating Brady had the week before.

Here are the top 50 ratings changes from the Week 4 roster update, with QB changes in bold:

Lamar Jackson continues to see a steady ratings improvement

While there were plenty of quarterbacks making ratings moves in this Madden 22 Roster Update, both positive and negative, it's Lamar Jackson who stands out the most.

While Brady still has the higher overall rating, Brady also started the year at 97 OVR while Lamar Jackson was just a 91 OVR at launch.

That's three points below the 94 OVR rating that Jackson had when Madden 21 launched, but he's slowly working his way back up to that same level.

THE STAR: Jackson was also the Cover Athlete for Madden 21

In the last two weeks we've seen two one-point improvements for Jackson, carrying him now to a 93 OVR rating.

Lamar Jackson has remained the fifth highest rated quarterback in Madden 22 even as his ratings haf gone up, but he's now just one point away from tying Russell Wilson at fourth.

Patrick Mahomes (99 OVR), Tom Brady (98 OVR), and Aaron Rodgers (95 OVR) all round out the top five, but if they're not careful Jackson will be on their heels in no time.
