Madden 22 Ratings: All the top Saints players this year

Madden 22 has finally launched for Early Access with a worldwide release just days away, and the New Orleans Saints ratings have now come in.

We're taking a closer look here at how the NFC South contender is starting the year and which Saints players have the top ratings in Madden 22.

Madden 22: New Orleans Saints Team Ratings

Madden 22 ratings are a hot topic this year, and the New Orleans Saints came in close to the middle of the pack when you look at Team Rating.

With an 84 OVR, the Saints ranked 12th, far behind their NFC South rival and top rated Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but far ahead of the Falcons or Panthers.

The New Orleans Saints took a similar ranking for offense, with a 83 Offense landing them 11th in the NFL, again behind the top rated Buccaneers offense.

They fell lower on the other side of the ball, with just an 80 in Defense barely getting them ahead of the Falcons, well ahead of the Panthers, and even further behind the Buccaneers than they were in overall rating.

Top Five Players Overall

Every team has their own top stars, and for the New Orleans Saints things are spread amongst five different key positions.

While there are plenty of other playmakers, here are the top five rated players on the New Orleans Saints in Madden 22:

Terron Armstead, 95 OVR, LT

This is great news for just about anyone on offense, because a strong offensive line makes everything about scoring easier.

Armstead anchors the line at left tackle, and fellow o-linemen Ryan Ramczyk and Erik McCoy didn't fall far out of this top five.

Alvin Kamara, 94 OVR, HB

There's no doubt that the top offensive weapon on the New Orleans Saints is Alvin Kamara, and his ratings prove that in Madden 22.

TRUCKED: Kamara can literally run over the competition in Madden 22

With his 96 in Awareness, 94 in Acceleration, and 94 in Break Tackle, Kamara is going to be a nightmare to defend in Madden 22, just like he is in the NFL.

Michael Thomas, 94 OVR, WR

While quarterback Jameis Winston couldn't find a place at the top with his Madden 22 ratings, his top target Michael Thomas certainly did.

Thomas boasts a perfect 99 in Stamina and Toughness, a 97 in Catching, and a near-perfect 98 in Catch In Traffic that make him a devastating wideout for the Saints.

Cameron Jordan, 93 OVR, LE

While the Saints' defense may not be complete enough for Madden 22 to rank it higher when compared to the total defense provided by other teams, they have a few standouts.

The first is definitely Cameron Jordan, who carries a 96 in Awareness and 94 in Play Recognition paired with an impressive 94 in Tackle and 93 in Pursuit that make him New Orleans' greatest defensive threat.

Demario Davis, 91 OVR, MLB

Rounding out the top five players for the New Orleans Saints in Madden 22 is linebacker Demario Davis, whose 94 in Stamina tops his ratings.

He's also got a 93 in Awareness, 92 in Tackle, 91s in Pursuit and Play Recognition, and strong 88 in Hit Power to round things out and anchor his 91 OVR rating.
