Madden 20: TOTW 12 predictions (MUT Ultimate Team Team Of The Week 12) - Chris Godwin, Jarvis Landry, Sheldon Richardson & more

I’m not sure how, but there’s only five
regular season games left. Two thirds of the season is gone. However, each week
brings plenty of excitement and this week was no different.

Week 12 saw the San Francisco 49ers dominate the Green Bay Packers and silence any critics of their quality, the Cleveland Browns overcame their midweek chaos to win, the Dallas Cowboys took another step back, and the Oakland Raiders took a massive step back.

As always, several players dominated. Who
did enough to make Madden Ultimate Team’s TOTW 12?

Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (LTD) – 93 OVR

This season has been very good to Godwin as
this week should see him earn his second top performer limited card of the
year.

The Bucs receiver put up monster numbers against the Falcons. He caught seven of eight passes thrown his way, and turned them into 184 yards and two touchdowns. He deserves a second limited card for that performance.

Jarvis Landry, Cleveland Browns (Hero) – 91
OVR

Landry is not given the respect he
deserves, and several times this season he has done his best to change that.
This week was one of those weeks.

The Browns receiver tormented his former
team. He looked nearly unstoppable, continuing a red hot month of football. The
former-Dolphin caught 10 passes for 148 yards and two scores. He accounted for
45.3% of the Browns’ yards through the air.

Sheldon Richardson, Cleveland Browns (Hero)
– 91 OVR

The Cleveland Browns needed a big win, and their game against the Miami Dolphins couldn’t have come at a better time. The Browns thumped them and Richardson had a huge game.

The defensive lineman had his first huge
game for the Browns after his offseason move. Richardson contributed five total
tackles, with two sacks and a forced fumble. They were his first sacks of the
season.

D.J. Moore, Carolina Panthers – 87 OVR

The Panthers may have lost, but Moore – and
the offense – did everything they could to avoid that.

Last year’s first round pick has been a
much bigger weapon with Kyle Allen under center, and Week 12’s game against the
Saints was the latest game to prove that. The receiver caught six passes but
racked up 126 yards and two touchdowns on those opportunities. He also had a
rush for eight yards, for what it’s worth.

Fred Warner, San Francisco 49ers – 86 OVR

Warner has been one of the biggest surprises this year and his breakout season continued with a dominate win over the Green Bay Packers.

The 49ers’ defense played unbelievably
against Aaron Rodgers and co. They held them to just over 200 yards of offense
and Warner was a huge part of that. The MLB had 11 tackles, added a sack and
also forced a fumble.

Sam Darnold, New York Jets – 85 OVR

The Jets surprised most people on Sunday against
the Raiders, as they completely manhandled the California team. Sam Darnold was
on target for the Jets as they scored 34 points in a 31 point victory.

The second year signal caller threw for 315
yards and two touchdowns on 20/29 passes, and added another touchdown on the
ground. The Jets are putting together a good little run.

Zach Cunningham, Houston Texans – 84 OVR

The Texans needed a win against the Colts
to take back the number one spot in the AFC South, and rebound from a drubbing
at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens. They got it.

It was a tight game, and one where the defenses had to step up. The Texans did just that and Zach Cunningham led the charge. The linebacker was all over the field and amassed 16 total tackles, 13 of which were solo. He may not have had any sacks or forced turnovers, but he didn’t let anything get past him.

Rashaad Penny, Seattle Seahawks – 83 OVR

Another first round pick from last year’s
draft, Penny has had a rough start to his career. However, Sunday may have signaled
the turning point.

The running back may not have had the
touches you’d expect from a top running back, nor from a typical TOTW running
back, but his 58-yard touchdown all-but sealed the game and perhaps marked his
arrival. He had 129 yards on 14 carries, a season high in yards for Seahawks
running backs.

Fabian Moreau, Washington Redskins – 82 OVR

The Redskins have had so few moments to
celebrate this season, but Sunday provided them with a win and a great
performance from this young cornerback.

Moreau picked off Lions QB Jeff Driskel two times and added six total tackles. Now in his third season, Moreau had just one career interception before this week, so it was a significant performance in his career.
