Many users are currently experiencing a complete outage on Twitter, with them not being able to access the popular social media website on both desktop or mobile.

At around 12:48pm BST Twitter suddenly went down, with many users unable to log in to both the desktop and mobile versions of the website.
When trying to log in to the site users are greeted with an Error message with the option to refresh or log out.
According to Down Detector, there have been a few reports of the site being down, with more users unable to access the desktop version of the site.
As of 1:48 pm BST there has been 5437 reports of the site being down, but we suspect that the site is down for everyone.
We can confirm the outage is happening in the UK as none of our staff can't access it.
But, while you wait here are some things you can do to pass the time before you get back to tweeting.
