Is Peloton Down?
According to DownDetector, Peloton received a number of outage reports around 10am EST on December 15, with the most commonly reported issues appearing with its workouts, app, website, and log-in.
In fact, 43% of people appeared to be having an issue with Peloton's website over the last 24 hours at the time of writing, and 29% experienced app problems, therefore suggesting an issue with Peloton's online services.
This outage seemed to arise following scheduled maintenance to its services, where users may have experienced intermittent issues adding/searching for tags or starting a new workout, however, this maintenance finished at 2am EST on December 15.
Current Status
As of 16 December, Peloton looks to have returned to normal across all of its services, including its website and live media according to Peloton's official status page, and even stated the incident had been restored at around 4pm EST on December 15.
How Often Does Peloton Go Down?
Peloton's services very rarely go down, with the last, and only other reported outages from December (according to its status page), appearing on December 10 following scheduled maintenance.
On this occasion, it seemed Peloton had an issue with its phone platform which was preventing incoming calls from connecting with its associates.
Peloton is not the only online service having problems at the moment, with Twitch experiencing issues with its servers over the last 24 hours.
