NHL 25 - Is GM Connected Back?

NHL 25 is here, which means players can already grab their controllers and hit the ice. The new entry in the NHL franchise introduces many changes, with improved gameplay, revamped UI, and much more.

However, what most fans want to know is if the beloved GM Connected feature is finally back. This feature allowed players to create an online Franchise mode with their friends, making the mode much more fun and immersive.

So let's find out if GM Connected is in NHL 25.

Is GM Connected in NHL 25?

Unfortunately, the most popular feature of the NHL franchise didn't make a return in NHL 25.

Even though the Franchise mode underwent significant changes, with new and revamped features, such as a new UI, an overhaul of the negotiation system, and the introduction of the Conversation System, GM Connected didn't make its highly anticipated return.

This is incredibly disappointing for fans, as GM Connected is a feature the NHL community is very fond of, and fans were hoping this was the year the feature would return.

GM Connected would allow players to create an online league with their friends, transforming the somewhat stale offline experience of Franchise mode into something unique, incredibly fun, and much more immersive.

With GM Connected, trades were more realistic, games were more exciting, and the Franchise mode experience as a whole was much closer to reality than in the offline mode.

But all hope is not lost, as there is a chance NHL 26 will be the title where the GM Connected feature finally makes a return. Hopefully, that is the case, as this feature alone can make Franchise mode worth playing, and bring back some veteran players to the NHL franchise.
