Animal Crossing: New Horizons released early last year and sold really well due to a few main factors. People were stuck inside, the Nintendo Switch was selling very well and Animal Crossing is a beloved series. Despite this great launch, we haven't all that much from it since.
With the recent Direct announcement, Nintendo plan on changing this. Here is when you can watch it and how.
When is the Animal Crossing Direct?
The next Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo Direct is due to air on October 15th, today. You can catch it at 10 am ET / 3 pm BST. It could always start a little late but just make sure to refresh the page and it may fix it.
It is set to go live for just under half an hour so we can expect tonnes of new information and updates throughout the stream. It seems likely that we will see the next year or so of Animal Crossing tonight.
How to Watch Animal Crossing New Horizons October Direct
There are a handful of ways to watch this stream. The first is via the official Animal Crossing YouTube account. With over 8M subscribers, this is sure to be a huge live stream. With the potential of reaching hundreds of thousands of eyes, if you don't mind getting lost in the comment section, this is a good choice.
If you play something a little less crowded and with custom emojis, their Twitch page is a great place to look.
What will we see?
We could potentially see anything today. It seems rather likely that we will see some form of winter update to the game but we could also see hints at what we should see next.
Perhaps an update to the mobile game or some form of a spin-off for the Nintendo Switch. They are fond of doing odd things with their titles. Only time will tell what Nintendo will do next.
