Hades is truly a phenomenal game and it's been great to see it arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series X recently. You can check out our review right here for yourself. This being said, it can be a bit of a trek to make your way through all the different routes and small clips of story.
Unfortunately, it can take you anywhere between 20 to 200 hours to make your way through it. Here's our best estimate of how long the game might take you, completely free of spoilers.
How long does it take to beat Hades?
As said above, it is really hard to estimate how long it can take you to fully "beat" the game. Hades is all about going through runs. You are often expected to lose but getting through a run rewards you with a little bit more information about the central story. A good run could take you under an hour to beat, a bad one ends in your death.
You have to beat the game 10 times to get the proper ending and this is followed by an epilogue. You can then maximise your relationship with all the characters to get all of the story.
If it takes you around 5 hours to get a successful run, it will take over 50 hours to beat. On the other hand, some players have reported over 100 hours to beat the game.
Luckily, as you go forward, you will start to get used to the game and manage to get through it a bit quicker. This is made even easier through the game's upgrade. sThis gets much easier as you acquire new upgrades. ystems and new mechanics. Essentially, the more you play, the easier it gets.
