The PlayStation's PS Plus service is a fantastic deal for PlayStation players. Now, the PS Plus games lineup for June 2021 has been revealed and it's remaining a great deal.
Below, we've got everything you need to know about the confirmed lineup.
Latest - June PS Plus Lineup Confirmed
The full lineup for PS Plus in June 2021 has been confirmed and it matches that of the leaks we go over below.
That means that the following list is the confirmed one for June 2021's free games:
- Star Wars: Squadrons (PS4)
- Operation: Tango (PS5)
- Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown (PS5)
It's worth nothing that, while Operation: Tango and Star Wars: Squadrons will be free until Monday, July 5, Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown will be free until August 2.
Leaks
Ahead of the official reveal that's now arrived, Areajugones once again claimed to have the lineup ahead of time, and they have a track record of getting things right.
As it turns out, the leak was correct, so credit to them for getting the scoop.
When Will The PS Plus Games Be Announced?
Sony usually reveals the next PS Plus games to be given away on the last Wednesday of the month, and at the same time too.
This means that we can expect to see the reveal for June's PS Plus games on Wednesday, May 26th at 11:30 am EST/4:30 pm BST.
As for the games' actually becoming available, the stars are aligning and they're going to drop on June 1st! They should be available at 00:00 Local Time, but the PS Store will refresh around 11:00 EST / 16:00 BST if not.
Our Own Predictions
Original Article:
Operation Tango could be the free PS5 title, a day one release, and we're guessing that Dirt 5 and Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered could be the PS4 games. However, for now, these are all just predictions and unconfirmed.
Also, as we said, Virtua Fighter 5 has been leaked as one of the free games. We'll let you know if that's confirmed to be real.
Thankfully, we do know when we should find out what free PlayStation games are coming in June 2021 and when we can start playing them.
Knockout City Free Trial
While we wait for the PS Plus announcement, there's still a way you can check out a new game for free on PlayStation.
EA's Knockout City might be the perfect title to play over the next week, in any case. At the moment, you can play EA's new title before Knockout City Season 1 is released.
Knockout City is a fast-paced, dodgeball-esque, fighter that promises intense multiplayer action. Season 1 of the title will act as an introduction to the title, with the theme "Welcome to Knockout City". It looks like there's a slew of new content updates coming over the next few months.
Free Bomberman Game Confirmed
We don't know what's coming with the PS Plus games just yet, but if you're a fan of Bomberman we have some good news for you! There's a new Bomberman game coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox, and PC on May 27th.
Super Bomberman R Online is going to be free-to-play and will be available on next-gen consoles via backwards compatibility. There's also cross-platform multiplayer, so don't worry too much about finding a game!
Like any free-to-play game, Super Bomberman R Online will have a battle pass feature. We're not sure how sustainable this will be, but hopefully, it's reasonably priced.
" SUPER BOMBERMAN R ONLINE will also be launching a two-tier “Battle Pass” system; Silver Passes and Gold Passes. The Silver Pass will be free for all players; the more they play Battle 64 mode, the more they can level up their rank and earn cosmetic rewards including taunts, accessories and poses. There will be 100 ranks within the Silver Pass, providing plenty of free content during each season."
