The 2022/23 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season is reaching its climax, with just three gameweeks remaining in the current campaign.
That means it's crunch time and FPL managers need to get their squads in tip-top shape for the run-in.
Gameweek 36 will see two teams play twice which means you'll want to bring in the best FPL assets from those clubs, but who are they?
We're here to break down the best players from Newcastle and Brihgton for Double Gameweek 36 in Fantasy Premier League.
Be aware, the Gameweek 36 deadline is on Saturday, 13 May at 11am BST / 6am ET.
Newcastle players to buy
Newcastle have the more favourable of the two doubles on paper, so you may want to triple up on Magpies assets this week.
Eddie Howe's men will travel to face struggling Leeds at Elland Road before taking on Brighton at St. James' Park.
1. Alexander Isak
Record signing Alexander Isak (£7.0m) is Newcastle's best FPL asset right now. The Swedish forward is nailed on to start both matches and is always a threat, whether he plays off the left or down the middle.
Isak has registered two goals and one assist in his last four appearances and has blanked just four times in his last 10 outings.
2. Kieran Trippier
Although Newcastle have failed to keep a clean sheet since back in GW29, their underlying defensive statistics are still up there with the best in the league.
When you combine that fact with Kieran Trippier's (£6.1m) attacking threat including set pieces, it makes the Englishman a real big hitter in GW36.
3. Fabian Schar / Callum Wilson
Despite costing £0.6m more than his centre-back partner Sven Botman (£4.5m), Fabian Schar's (£5.1m) attacking threat makes the Swiss defender worth the investment.
Despite Callum Wilson (£7.1m) being an excellent FPL asset, we expect Eddie Howe to bench the England international striker for one of the matches.
Brighton players to buy
Roberto De Zerbi's Brighton will come up against Arsenal at the Emirates before travelling north to face Newcastle away from home in GW36.
1. Alexis Mac Allister
As far as Brighton assets go, Alexis Mac Allister (£5.5m) just edges Kaoru Mitoma (£5.6m) due to the fact that the Argentine is on penalty duties.
Mac Allister has netted two goals in his last two appearances, scoring 19 points in total against Manchester United and Everton.
2. Kaoru Mitoma
Kaoru Mitoma (£5.6m) is still a great option as he is a constant threat for Brighton down the left flank and is guaranteed to start both matches.
The Japanese international produced an assist and five points in his last match against Everton in Gameweek 35.
3. Jason Steele
Whilst many FPL managers own the likes of LEwis Dunk (£.) and Pervis Estupinan (£4.8m), clean sheet points may be hard to come by this week as they face Arsenal and Newcastle.
This means you'll be relying on attacking returns from the aforementioned players, which is unlikely. Jason Steele (£4.0m) is still a good option, though, as we predict he will pick up several save points over the course of the double gameweek.
