After a big roadmap was revealed in the summer for the future of FM, we finally have an official Football Manager 2024 release date.
With the new season well underway, fans are chomping at the bit to take over their favourite team and lead them to glory. Well, your next great managerial career is about to start.
A game that promises to be the last of its kind, FM24 will be a celebration of the last decade of games from Sports Interactive. A new era is being ushered through in FM25 but, until then, let's focus on what's coming next.
With that in mind, let's take a look at everything we know about the release date of Football Manager 2024.
Latest - Football Manager 2024 is one month away!
Football Manager is set to release on 6 October 2023, meaning the newest FM game is just a month away.
With tons of new features added to the game, managers across the world will be able to dive into the most immersive experience ever before!
Mark the date in your calendars!
FM24 release date revealed
Recently revealed by Sports Interactive, Football Manager 2024 finally has an official release date.
The game is set to follow a similar release pattern to that seen in recent years.
Football Manager 2023 was released on 7 November, with Football Manager 2022 launching on November 8. This year things move forward by a day once again.
Football Manager 2024 will be released on 6 November 2023.
Beta & early access
As is tradition, PC players can dive into the new Football Manager game a bit earlier than console players, but only if they pre-order!
Pre-purchasing FM24 will get players access to the beta, or early access as SI is calling it now.
Football Manager responded to content creator @WorkTheSpace on Twitter who asked when the Beta would be announced, and they said:
"Approximately two/three weeks launch."
This means that the Beta could be coming as early as next week!
Platforms & price
Pre-orders for Football Manager 2024 are now open!
Just like last year, Football Manager 2024 will be available on PC via Steam & Epic, as well as Xbox and PlayStation.
There is a universal price of £44.99 for FM24, but some discounts are available. If you have FM23 in your Steam or Epic library you can get a 10% discount for pre-purchasing.
PlayStation Plus members also get a 10% discount, while Xbox Game Pass members could get FM24 for free on day one. Last year the game was available for PC Game Pass members and Xbox Game Pass subscribers from day one, so we should expect it to be the same this year.
FM24 Touch and Mobile
If you want to play on Nintendo Switch or iPad/tablet then FM24 Touch is for you. This is a slightly stripped-back version of the game so that it can run on less powerful hardware.
Meanwhile, FM24 Mobile is an even more stripped-back version that you can run on mobile devices like your iPhone or Android device.
The release date for both these versions is also 6 November. SI has announced a Netflix partnership that will bring FM24 Mobile to Netflix subscribers for free.
