That doesn't mean there haven't been some frustrations, and we want to give you the low down on all the top tips we've learnt from our first week on the full game.
Football Manager 2022 Top Tips
Football Manager 2022 introduces a lot of new concepts, and it can be difficult to spin all of those plates at the same time, so we want to help out.
This list won't cover tactics or formations, instead, we want to offer our thoughts on FIVE features we would recommend you utilise in Football Manager 2022.

Utilise Pre-Season
It can be very tempting to skip through pre-season, with most of your time spent simulating the calendar with no meaningful games to play.
However, we would steer you away from that path and instead encourage you to take your time to tweak your formation and set up a balanced pre-season friendly schedule.
Whilst some may chose to have their assistant manage pre-season games, we would recommend taking charge yourself, ensuring that all of your players gain ample game time before the campaign starts.
Also, mix up your pre-season friendly schedule by taking on tougher oppositions, but don't be afraid to throw in a game against a minnow in order to build some confidence before the big kick-off.
Pre-season is a vital way to develop tactical familiarity and match fitness, and it will set your side in good stead for the season ahead.
Embrace the Data Hub
The Data Hub is the most daunting of FM22's new features, with all the different metrics sometimes feeling overwhelming.
That being said, we would highly recommend you take your time to sift through and find your team's weakest areas.
Your analysts are on hand to provide you with any data you need, meaning you can go back through previous games and discover your strengths and weaknesses.
Taking time to familiarise yourself with the Data Hub will allow you to achieve great success in Football Manager 2022.
Affiliate Clubs
One of the most important tips for managers starting lower down the footballing pyramid, affiliate clubs are a key part of finding success in FM22.
Either allowing you to sign top young talents on loan without contributing to their wages, or providing you with a place to send your wonderkids for further development, affiliate clubs are a perfect way to develop your side.
Building reputations and gaining trust from top managers makes you far more likely to be chosen as the perfect loan destination, offering you the chance to capture players you wouldn't have any chance of signing otherwise.
As ever, it's important not to break the trust between the clubs, but we think setting up an affiliate network could be one of the best decisions you make in Football Manager 2022.
Look for Bargains
This one may seem obvious, but bargain buys are more readily available than you'd think in Football Manager 2022.
Taking your time to scout the market and negotiate strongly with rival clubs could be a great way to boost your chances of success.
With many team's transfer budgets starting low in FM22, it's more important than ever to stretch your funds and ensure you're securing the best talents for the best possible price.

Shout from the Sides
The matchday experience has received a major overhaul in Football Manager 2022.
Whilst it's hard to turn your attention away from the new animation engine or the fresh UI, we think you should use more shouts in order to motivate your team.
From praising your side after a goal to berating them if they're underperforming, shouts can have a genuine impact on the outcome of a match.
Improving in-game morale through sideline shouts and giving honest team talks can be a simple but effective way to turn the tide and cultivate success in Football Manager 2022.
