Football Manager 2022's Winter Update is just around the corner, with the major overhaul expected to arrive towards the end of February.
We want to get you prepared for the second wind of FM fun by spilling the beans on the best teams you can use following the major update.
Taking into account the massive transfers we saw in the January window, we think a few of these sides could become major players for silverware in Football Manager 2022.
Aston Villa
A team we have already boosted as the most exciting to use following the Winter Update, Aston Villa has the Steven Gerrard effect to thank for some of their mega January deals.
From the arrival of former Liverpool superstar Phillipe Coutinho to the capture of Everton favourite Lucas Digne, Steven Gerrard's mighty Villians could once again be set for a push at the right end of the Premier League table.
Newcastle United
Given their recent financial boost - and their position in the Premier League table - Newcastle were always going to splash the cash in the January window.
With stars like Bruno Guimaraes swapping a Champions League push to a relegation battle, the financial lure of Newcastle is already paying off for Eddie Howe's side.
With other notable additions like Chris Wood, Dan Burn and Kieran Trippier rounding out the side, we're confident you can begin to develop Newcastle into a mighty force in Football Manager 2022
Bournemouth
Another side that made a major play on the final day of the transfer window, Bournemouth could be the perfect side to manage if you're looking to get an immediate promotion on your FM22 CV.
Stars like Todd Cantwell, Siriki Dembele and Kieffer Moore make the attacking options down on the South coast even stronger, and we even think you could push this side to record-breaking capabilities.
With a plethora of stars bulking their squad, Bournemouth may just be the best second-tier side to manager following FM22's winter update.
Everton
With Rafa Benitez out of the door, Everton utilised the final moments of the January window to make some major improvements to their squad.
Whilst this pair may be shadows of their former selves, the arrivals of Dele Alli and Donny van de Beek are certain to improve the Toffee's attacking prospects.
With players returning from injury and a squad looking in much better shape, will you be able to guide Everton back into European contention?
Juventus (Zebre)
Whilst it pains me to include a team that has an inauthentic name in Football Manager 2022, it's hard to deny that Juventus - or Zebre to you and me - haven't made major strides when it comes to improving their squad.
The obvious highlight is the arrival of wonderkid striker Dusan Vlahovic, who will slot seamlessly into a front three with Paulo Dybala and Chiesa.
Denis Zakaria has also joined the Old Lady, leaving the Italian title challengers with serious talent that may just see them become one of the most exciting teams you can use in FM22.
