- European Wonderkids Best XI
Lineup = (Nardi, Perrin, Gunter, de Ligt, Tufan, Lemar, Traore, Andrade, Bruma, Batshuayi, Zivkovic)
GK - Paul Nardi (AS Monaco)
Nardi is a decent choice for any side with just a few million to spare in need of a cheap goalkeeper. He will take a lot of work to develop, but becomes solid enough eventually.
DC - Lucas Perrin (Marseille)
Perrin can be signed for at little as £200k, and has the potential to become a solid centre half, and with 4-star potential, is your definition of a low-risk/high-reward prospect.
DC - Koray Gunter (Galatasaray)
Gunter isn't ready to make a difference from the word go, but costs around £5-7m, which if you factor in his 5-star potential, doesn't seem like an awful lot at all.
DC - Matthijs de Ligt (Ajax)
De Ligt is still 15, so is a long way away from cracking anybody's first team in the immediate future, but with 5-star potential and just a £625k compensation to fee, if you have a an extra million spare, sign him up now and reap the benefits later on.
DM - Ozan Tufan (Fenerbahce)
Tufan already earns a decent wage at Fenerbahce (£27k), so will cost a fair bit, but is is also a lot more first-team-ready than some of the other players on the list.
MC - Thomas Lemar (Monaco)
Lemar is a centre midfield by nature, but can also play in a slightly more advanced role, offering you some nice versatility. However, he is valued at £4.2m at the start of the game, and plays for Monaco, so you'll have to spend at least £13m to sign him.
MC – Adama Traore (Monaco)
You may have to spend big to sign the Mali-born midfield dynamo, but when he arrives, he will bring with him his 5-star potential and has acute playmaking skills. The question is – do you consider him to be worth the £25m+ you’d have to pay for him?
MR - Victor Andrade (Benfica)
Andrade is a must-buy for any side, and can be bought for as little as £1.5m.Right now, he's rated at 1.5 stars, so you can either gamble now or loan him out for a season or two. Either way, with 5-star potential and such a cheap fee, Andrade is very much a 'why not' type of signing.
ML - Bruma (Galatasaray)
Bruma is currently on loan at Real Sociedad, but as soon as the 2016/17 season comes around, he could be yours for no more than £8m.
ST - Michy Batshuayi (Marseille)
If you need a striker, sign Batshuayi immediately, because if you don't, his fee will just sky-rocket. You can sign him for a fee of around £8m, and with wages of just £20k/week, he's a financially sound buy.
ST - Richario Zivkovic (Ajax)
Zivkovic was a known commodity on FM15, but sadly, didn't have the best of seasons in 2014/15, and now finds himself on loan at Willem II. I'd advise buying him ASAP for a fee of around £5m, wait for his loan to end, then watch him realise his 5-star potential.
