FIFA 22's release is getting closer and closer, and we can't wait!

This will be the first fully-optimised version of the game for Next-Gen consoles, the expectation is understandably high for the game on Xbox Series X|S.

Latest news - Stadium roll-out continues

After the unveiling of the Estadio da Luz, home of Benfica, and the Estadio do Dragao, home of Porto in FIFA 22, EA has added yet another exclusive stadium to the list.

The home of the Portuguese giants is an amphitheatre of atmosphere and FIFA 22 looks to replicate this as best it can.

Their arch-rivals Porto will also have their home ground in the game, with the Estadio do Dragao coming exclusively to FIFA 22.

The third stadium revealed comes from Germany, with Armenia Bielefeld's SchucoArena coming to the game for the first time.

FIFA 22 Trailer Revealed

The official FIFA 22 trailer has finally been revealed!

The reveal trailer has got fans hyped for the upcoming release, featuring cover star Kylian Mbappe, along with top talents Trent Alexander-Arnold and Christian Pulisic.

The trailer gives us an idea of how EA will Hypermotion Technology to implement real-life player movements into FIFA 22 gameplay.

Release Date

The release date for EA's upcoming title has been confirmed, and there is not long to wait!

After months of speculation, EA announced that FIFA 22 will be released on Friday, 1 October 2021.

Early Access will be available from Tuesday, 28 September - with the EA Play Trial going live 10 days before release.

What is the Demo?

There is always a big difference between demos and the full game.

This largely extends to which game modes players can access, teams, and the more in-depth options available.

The FIFA 22 Demo obviously won't be the full game, but it is still the first chance to test out some of the new adaptations.

Demo Clubs

The FIFA 22 Demo will give us a selection of clubs to test out the gameplay.

These are all likely to clubs that have partnership deals with EA Sports.

The FIFA 20 demo had PSG, Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Tottenham.

For FIFA 22 we'd expect the clubs to be:

Xbox One vs Xbox Series X|S

Stocking issues will hopefully be sorted soon, but there will still be many of us using Xbox One rather than the new Xbox Series X|S by the time FIFA 22 rolls around.
