FIFA 21 still has plenty left to offer, with the Festival of FUTball promo in full swing.
However, with EA's next title coming over the horizon, fans are wondering who will headline this year's game.
So, check out who we think will be the FIFA 22 Cover Star below.
Who will be the FIFA 22 Cover Star?
As we know, PSG star Kylian Mbappe fronted up all three editions of FIFA 21.
A David Beckham edition has also been available, but will we see any new faces on the cover of FIFA 22.
We expect Mbappe to stay as the cover star for the foreseeable future as one of the world’s brightest talents.
Top Contenders
If EA does opt for someone else, it is likely to come from one of their current FIFA Ambassadors.
Trent Alexander-Arnold
Liverpool right back Trent Alexander-Arnold could be one of the next in line if EA decide to use more than one cover star for FIFA 22.
TAA is one of the top young players in the world and a crucial player in Jurgen Klopp’s successful side.
Erling Haaland
The sky is the limit for Norway and Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
EA has already signed Haaland as an ambassador, so we could definitely see the forward on the cover of FIFA at some point in his career!
Joao Felix
Another of EA’s prodigies, Joao Felix is starting to show why Atletico Madrid splashed over £100 million to bring him to the Spanish capital.
Like Haaland, Felix has a bright future ahead of him and he is certainly another player in contention for FIFA 22 cover star.
Phil Foden
One of the ‘FIFA Next’ crowd, Manchester City’s Phil Foden looks a class above every time he steps on the pitch.
EA has surprised us before with young guns on their cover, but we think FIFA 22 may come a little early for Foden.
Mason Mount
Chelsea wonderkid Mason Mount is another young English player we could see on the front of FIFA in the near future.
The Blues are finding form, with FIFA Next star Mount a consistent performer.
